The seat on a Herman Miller chair benefits from a 5 year manufacturer’s warranty, including normal wear and tear. All other components have a 12 year warranty apart from the gas lift which is 3 years. However, the gas lift is not an expensive part to replace. Revived Limited recommends that a chair should be serviced every 4 to 5 years. The standard service will provide basic lubrication and functionality checks. At the same time, it will identify any defective components which can be supplied under warranty. After repair the warranty will be reinstated on all new components.
